Ernie Armond dedicated over 30 years of service to the Long Beach Police Department, where he worked as a detective in the Gang Unit and as a SWAT negotiator. After retiring from LBPD in 2022, he continued his law enforcement career as a deputy with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. Today, Ernie is battling stage IV liver cancer and will be returning home under hospice care to spend precious time with his family.
